North Vancouver

Sunset at Lucky Fingers Pizza

I had the privilege of adding a little sunshine to the new North Vancouver pizza joint, Lucky Fingers. This mural was designed to capture the North Van essence of mountains, ocean and forests. Instead of our usual rain, I added a little sunshine. This was both to brighten up the space in the dark winter months, but also as a nod to the owner’s Japanese ancestry.

West Coast Baby Mural

Before my son was born, I new I wanted him to grow up surrounded by mountains. It wasn’t quite enough that we lived right next to the Coast Mountains, I wanted them to be the first thing he sees waking up.

It was COVID lockdown, so I had plenty of time to paint a 3-wall mural for him before his arrival. The result is a room I hope he never grows out of (though his taste may change) and for now, he loves his little mountain getaway.
